Wendy Gunnerson is a senior director based in the Salt Lake City office with over 16 years of management experience. In this role, Wendy is primarily responsible for leading client management by cultivating client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction. Wendy brings expertise in strategic consulting and clinical healthcare to lead engagements involving market and state policy intelligence, care delivery transformation, landscape assessments, and group facilitation.

Prior to joining Leavitt Partners, Wendy gained over seven years of strategy and operations consulting experience at Deloitte Consulting as an engagement manager in their federal practice. In this capacity, she led various projects focusing on executable strategy to benefit federal agency clients in public management, change transformation, technology, financial management, supply chain, and operations. Wendy is also a registered nurse with eight years of experience with Intermountain Healthcare in pediatrics and labor and delivery. There she served in various leadership capacities as a unit charge nurse and in a respiratory management role, collaborating with physicians and other hospital staff.

Wendy earned her bachelor’s degree in human development from Brigham Young University, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Western Governor’s University, and a master’s degree in public administration from Brigham Young University.
