Wendy Gunnerson is a senior director based in the Salt Lake City office with over 15 years of management experience. Wendy specializes in combining her strategic consulting and clinical health care experience to lead engagements in the health care space involving market and state policy intelligence, landscape assessment strategies, training and education, and currently oversees the speaker’s bureau.
Prior to joining Leavitt Partners, Wendy gained over seven years of strategy and operations consulting experience at Deloitte Consulting as an engagement manager in their federal practice. In this capacity, she led various projects focusing on executable strategy to benefit federal agency clients in public management, change transformation, technology, financial management, supply chain, and operations. Wendy is also a registered nurse with eight years of experience with Intermountain Healthcare in pediatrics and labor and delivery. There she served in various leadership capacities as a unit charge nurse and in a respiratory management role, collaborating with physicians and other hospital staff to keep informed of the latest respiratory clinical care, lead hospital-wide transformation, and formally educate other hospital staff.
Wendy received a bachelor’s degree in human development from Brigham Young University, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Western Governor’s University, and a master’s degree in public administration from Brigham Young University.
