Bo Nemelka is a principal at Leavitt Partners. In this role, Bo leads the firm’s strategy work with health systems, public health, and insurance broker organizations. Bo helps clients develop strategic growth plans and execute on projects aligned to advancing value in healthcare and public health – delivery, payment, and prevention. Bo manages significant client relationships for Leavitt Partners and actively engages in business development across the enterprise.
Prior to joining Leavitt Partners, Bo worked at Intermountain Healthcare and the University of Utah Hospitals & Clinics. At both health systems, he worked directly with senior management executing top administrative priorities. Particularly at Intermountain Healthcare, Bo successfully led several innovative business and operations projects, leading to significant cost savings and improved administrative efficiency.
Bo was the student body president at the Yale School of Public Health where he earned his graduate degree in public health and healthcare management. Bo earned his bachelor’s in marketing and business from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. Bo is a published author with Simon & Shuster.
