Leavitt Partners Selected to Participate in the Massachusetts Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Technical Assistance Marketplace

Salt Lake City, September 21, 2018 –Today, Leavitt Partners announced that the firm has been selected to participate in the Massachusetts Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Technical Assistance (TA) Program and TA Marketplace. The TA Marketplace is part of a broader initiative of  MassHealth, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program, and contractor Abt Associates Inc. (Abt) which aims to support Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Community Partners (CPs) in improving health outcomes and experience for Medicaid patients throughout Massachusetts. It serves to enable MassHealth ACO and CPs to easily navigate and tap into the array of resources and supports available to them through the MassHealth DSRIP TA Program. It is through the TA Marketplace that ACOs and CPs can learn more about the TA Vendors available to them through this program.

The Technical Assistance (TA) domains categorize the expertise and services offered by vendors into nine domains, including: actuarial & financial, care coordination/integration, community-based care and social determinants of health, consumer engagement, flexible services, health information technology/health information exchange, performance improvement, population health management, and workforce. These domains reflect current TA priorities identified by MassHealth ACOs and CPs. TA Vendors were procured competitively for the TA Program based on their demonstrated experience and expertise in individual TA Domains.

Leavitt Partners was selected to provide targeted technical assistance and project support to MassHealth ACOs and CPs in three domains including actuarial and financial, community-based care and social determinants of health, and population health management.

“We are excited to be part of the TA Marketplace and look forward to utilizing our seasoned team of experts to provide MassHealth ACOs and CPs with outstanding analytic and evaluation skills, a robust understanding of the transition to value, and on-the-ground experience in mapping complex processes to improve care coordination and community-based partnerships to address social determinants of health,” according to Cristal Gary, principal of Leavitt Partners.”
