Tara Gunther is an Analyst at Leavitt Partners where she works with others on the Leavitt Partners’ team to analyze health care issues, collect and organize information, and assist with client needs.

Prior to joining Leavitt Partners, Ms. Gunther worked for University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) – an alliance of academic medical centers that provides clinical and financial comparative data and tools to its members. As Project Manager of FPSC Member Engagement, Ms. Gunther was responsible for the education and product support for over 6,000 users at 90 academic faculty practice plans. Other responsibilities within UHC included performing member data analysis to improve clinic operations and revenue cycle performance through efficient collections, denials management, targeted coding initiatives, and provider productivity analysis.

Ms. Gunther holds a master’s degree in business administration from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. During her time at the University of Chicago, Ms. Gunther was also able to complete a Certificate in Health Administration and Policy.
