Ronald A. Williams is the retired Chairman and CEO of Aetna Inc., a Fortune 100 company with over $34 billion in revenues. During his tenure Aetna was named by Fortune magazine as the most admired company in the insurance and managed care industry.

Currently serving as an advisor to the private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC, Mr. Williams also serves as the Chairman of the Board for the same company’s portfolio company, Emergency Medical Services Corporation, a leading provider of facility-based physician services and medical transportation services in the United States.

Mr. Williams currently serves on the board of directors of American Express Company, The Boeing Company, and Johnson & Johnson. He also serves on the boards of the Peterson Institute for Institutional Economics and Save the Children.

He is a graduate of Roosevelt University and holds an MS in management from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
