Robin Arnold-Williams

Robin Arnold-Williams serves as a Senior Advisor at Leavitt Partners and is also a member of the firm’s FuturePanel, bringing experience in health and social service policy initiatives to the firm. With knowledge gained over a thirty-year career in public service, Ms. Arnold-Williams can help clients navigate complex regulatory issues and refine their business practices to maximize value.

In her most recent role, Ms. Arnold-Williams served as Executive Policy Director for Governor Chris Gregoire in the State of Washington. In this role she led the governor’s government reform initiatives resulting in reducing the size of state government, enhancing customer service and streamlining service delivery. She also led efforts to position the state to implement national health reform, including creating a health care cabinet and consolidating state health care purchasing.

Ms. Arnold-Williams has over a decade of experience leading large state-level health and human service agencies. In 2005 she was appointed by Governor Gregoire as Secretary of the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, responsible for the administration of Medicaid, aging and disability services, mental health, finance, technology, and regulatory functions. Ms. Arnold-Williams also served in Governor Mike Leavitt’s Cabinet as Director of the Utah State Department of Human Services from 1997 through 2004.

Ms. Arnold-Williams holds master’s and doctoral degrees in social work and a graduate certificate in gerontology from the University of Utah.
