Kristina Lunner
Kristina Lunner is a Senior Advisor at Leavitt Partners and specializes in the pharmaceutical industry. She has over twenty years of government relations experience, most recently leading the Health Care Reform Pharmacy Stakeholders, which secured several pharmacy-related provisions in the new health care reform law, the Affordable Care Act.
Ms. Lunner’s pharmacy policy expertise includes the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit, counterfeit drugs, medication therapy management, and health care reform. Most recently, Ms. Lunner served as Vice President of Government Affairs for the American Pharmacists Association, the largest national professional society for pharmacists in the United States. In this role Ms. Lunner led the Association’s federal legislative and regulatory activities.
Her career began at one of the largest lobbying law firms in Maine and later transitioned to Director of Public Affairs for the Maine Medical Association. Since then, she has served as the first Executive Director of the Maine Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Director of State Legislative and Regulatory Affairs for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
Ms. Lunner holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maine.
