Jordana Choucair is the vice president of communications and strategic planning. In this role, Jordana oversees firm-wide initiatives, negotiates and manages contracts and proposals for speeches among Leavitt Partners executives, directs corporate communications, and serves as the primary contact/liaison on media requests.
Before joining Leavitt Partners, Jordana served as staff assistant for the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). In this role, she advised and guided officials reporting to the Secretary in the development of briefing materials. She also developed internal communication strategies to facilitate the briefing process and managed the Secretary’s daily schedule. Jordana also served as an analyst in the Office of Budget at HHS, where she prepared and tracked congressional action on all Office of the Secretary Staff Division submissions for the President’s Budget. She later served as the lead program analyst for Division B Medicaid Provisions, Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, and Administration on Aging Nutrition Programs. Prior to her government service, Jordana was an analyst at the National Business Group on Health.
Jordana received her master’s in public health with an emphasis in management and policy from the University of Arizona and a bachelor’s degree in community health from Brigham Young University.
