David Muhlestein is an Analyst at Leavitt Partners, where he works with others on the Leavitt Partners’ team to analyze health care issues, collect and organize information, and assist with client needs.

Mr. Muhlestein’s previous experience is centered in research and analysis, serving as a legal intern for both the Ohio State University Medical Center Legal Office and the State of Ohio House Minority Caucus. He was also an American Heart Association undergraduate fellow at the Huntsman Cancer Institute as well as a research assistant at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Mr. Muhlestein received his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Brigham Young University, and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Health Services Management and Policy from The Ohio State University College of Public Health.
