David Acheson Appointed to Board of Directors of the International Food Protection Training Institute

The International Food Protection Training Institute announced today the appointment of Dr. David William Kennedy Acheson to its Board of Directors. Dr. Acheson serves as the Managing Director of the Food and Import Safety practice at Leavitt Partners. Prior to joining Leavitt Partners, Acheson served as Associate Commissioner of Foods of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), a role in which he provided agency-wide leadership on all food and feed issues, including health promotion and nutrition.
