Accountable Care Learning Collaborative
Learn More About the ACLC
The Accountable Care Learning Collaborative (ACLC) is a non-profit organization with a mission to accelerate the readiness of health care organizations to succeed under value-based payment models. The organization is housed at Western Governors University (WGU) and was founded by former Secretary of Health and Human Services Mike Leavitt, and former Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Dr. Mark McClellan. Leavitt Partners supports the ACLC.
Membership in the ACLC is uniquely valuable because of its approach to co-produce solutions with a wide variety of industry thought leaders including representatives of hospitals and health systems, physician groups, post-acute care providers, social service providers, and industry partners. These organizations send informed representatives to collaborative forums to identify and discuss essential elements of provider success under risk. This method captures cross-industry knowledge, permits ACLC members to test and collectively study and learn what works in a variety of contexts, and then share emerging evidence and thought leadership with the broader industry.
